I found this post on Janine Rippers blog and enjoyed it. As she says in her opening of the post, no matter how much we’d like it to be, life gets hard. For everyone. So we have to make sure to take care of ourselves….got that? SELF-CARE! It’s important (not selfish as we have been lead to believe).
Janine compiled this list of 64 Ideas for Self-Care When Life Gets Hard. I like number 2 (write a gratitude list), 27 ( go to a café, get coffee and read), 33 (sip on coffee, listen to music and doodle), and 40 (play with my pet) the best. They seem like habits I can actually stick with.
